Letter to the reader, Blog #13
Word count: 435

I really enjoyed writing all of my blogs, this year.  Therefore I would say that a reader should read all of my bogs because I try to make them interesting. But some of my favorite blogs include ones like describe a grandparent. I enjoyed this entry because I really love my grandpa and I was able to think of past memories and things that my grandpa and I have done. I also enjoyed the entries about thinking of myself in x amount of years. Those were very fun to write but might not be as fun to read. This is because in those blogs I talk about achieving my goals. So unless the reader has a very similar lifestyle, goals, and likes to me, then those might not be interesting. Those blogs may not be on the top of a readers list. My advice to any new blogger or a blogger that is struggling to maintain a blog would be to keep up to date and put in many entries that will keep your readers interested. If you just want to write a lot, get a notebook and stop wasting space on your hard drive on your computer. If writers are every in a pickle and are not sure what to write about. I always find that making up a magical land or creating a battle scene is sure to spark your writing skills. I really enjoy writing; it’s one of my favorite things to do once that I can get a good story going. Writing allows one to express their self and tell a story how they want it to be heard. I believe that practice does make perfect and that you should just keep writing daily to get better at it. A few predictions that I have for myself would be things like going into the military. This has always been a dream of mine. I enjoy camping, shooting guns, fireworks, and just being outside all the time. So I believe that this would be a good thing for me to do. A few other predictions I have for the world around me is that we are soon going to be run by the Chinese or become a third world country. I also think that we will all become fat at least the majority of America, because of people not working out and because of the bad diets that everyone has. I think the bears are getting ready to win a super bowl and that Obama will end up being in a traumatic accident.

Describe a Grandparent Blog #12
Word count: 264

The grandparent that I am bringing into my story is my grandpa, Larry D. Moore. Although all my grandparents are great I love my grandpa Moore a lot. My grandpa has always been awesome. He’s taken me working with him, taught me to drive stick shift in his jeep, takes me to car shows and stock car and drag races, and I get to work with him when he needs me and I love that. His house and its location are legendary in my family everyone knows about the “farm” that is just what we like to call it, instead of grandpas house or grandma’s house. It’s just a lot more interesting. My Grandpa and I like to go shoot our guns out at his house and that’s nice because its fun and I can’t do that at my house. My grandpa is also very funny and kind and just loves to joke with people that I really love about him. He is also a survivor of stage 4 colon cancer and that I admire about him greatly. It’s also nice because we collect the same types of things; we collect toy cars and car banks and tractors. My collection is not as near as Vass as his, but I like collecting them. He started getting me into collecting coins also when I was very little and I have all of the quarters in mint from each state from 2000. My grandpa Moore is just a great, fun, funny guy and I love him a lot.

I Remember…Blog #11
Word Count: 281

I remember when I was about nine years of age. I went to my grandma’s house for the fourth of July. They live on a lake and we have a Rinker 14ft. speed boat, we love to go out and ski, tube, and wakeboard even though my uncle and I are the only ones who can, wakeboard. On this specific Fourth of July, it was extremely hot. So my family and I decided to take out our boat and go tube. We went around the lake a few times in the tubes until I got board and wanted to ski. I thought it would be fun and challenging because the lake was extremely busy, even for a holiday. So my dad agreed to my request and I started skiing. On my first lap around the lake I made it around fine. But on the second lap, almost every boat seemed to be in the main channel. And on the holiday people don’t think and are drinking so my dad had to make an evasive maneuver to try and keep me out of harms way. This did not work because I soared over numerous huge waves and crashed down into the water. As I went into the water both skis flew off my feet and on their way up, one managed to launch itself into my face. Splitting it open for all to see, this resulted in me coming out of the water holding my bloody face and making my parents think my eye was torn out of my face. Luckily that wasn’t the case and I only needed five stitches and not a fake eye.

Blog #9-Top 10 Stories of 2010 so far (about me!)
Word count:318
In the past ten and a half months, I have had some good times. With sports, work, vacations, great movies, and other activities these past months have been awesome. Well if I think back to the beginning of this year I can think of only one great time and that was starting football for the first time. I loved football and everything involving it. I was a starting Defense and offensive lineman, and loved blowing people up. We had a record of six-three and it was just a great season. I hurt plenty of people too which made it even better. The next story I come to is my cross country success I placed sixteenth out of about three hundred and fifty and won a medal, with a time of 11:26. Our team got second in the state. As I come to number three another great sports achievement was in wrestling and I had the best record on the team, most wins and least losses. My record was 27-9 and had around 16 pins, I placed 2nd in regional’s and 4th in sectionals putting my just outside reach of state but that was ok. My fourth comes to track as I went to state as a pole vaulter and an 800m runner. My best time was the best on the team and was 2:11 and I pole vaulted at 9-6. Story no. five was seeing the Expendables with my dad twice. Six would have to be when I went to sports camp and was the strongest guy in our cabin and learned a lot about football. I went to Kentucky Lake with my good friends. I also got my scuba diving license. I got and x-box for a great gift. Today I’m having a great day, so these are my top ten stories of 2010.
Blog No. 8 Year 2110
Word count: 295

In the year 2110 everyone will wear spacesuits, they will need to do this because we will live on mars. In the year 2012 our ancestors of the great chase era. Had their O-zone collapse and all of the alien life forms escaped onto the earth to eat everyone! This was done to keep Barak Obama in office because he didn’t think people needed guns. He especially didn’t after he was shot in the leg by a canon. But back to 2110, we now drive hover crafts that rely on 100% moon rock. This is very cheap since mars now has five hundred thousand moons and is larger than Neptune by five hundred times. There are a countless amount of people in the united states of AmericanMars, in 2100 the government tried to take a census and the computers exploded killing twelve. It is now legal town any type of weaponry as long as you only use it on your land. This is legal because each family owns a piece of land the size of Japan. The new government is run by stern and extremely intelligent male and female figures. Everyone in the world now goes to church and there is only one social class. It is the same as what you then would call the middle class. We have found that J.R.R. Tolkien’s middle earth is real and that all the characters are real men and elves and dwarves, the hobbits do have very hairy feet. I chase Thurman was born in 1996 and with the advancements in modern science and my high level income I was able to insert surgically a pig heart to my heart and live all these years. Life now is great.
Childhood Story: Blog #7
Word count: 258

When I was only nine years old, I went to my grandma’s house to their lake for the weekend. It was the weekend of the 4th of July and we of course wanted to go boating. We went out in the mid channel of the lake were everyone seemed to be, and I decided to ski. As my dad did one loop around the lake he had to cut back through the mid channel once again. And suddenly the tip of my ski went under as I crashed down into the water. My skis immediately ripped off of my feet and shot down into the water and then right afterword shot up out of the water, the left ski planting only a few centimeters from my face. It split open my face and I came up out of the water holding around my eye. My parents immediately started freaking out and thought I ripped out my eye luckily the ski missed by a hair and I still have two eyes. After that my dad was very upset at himself for going into the main channel on the 4th of July. But he drove me to the hospital were I endured more pain as I received three numbing shots and five stitches into my face. One thing is for sure, that was not my favorite 4th of July and it felt like the fireworks were in my head from the pain that same night. I also have one heck of a scar.

Blog entry No. 6-Lucky Charm
Word count: 275

Every champion has a lucky charm. For me it’s a little thing I like to call THE BEAST. This so called beast is a t-shirt that is cut off at the belly. It’s a football shirt that says beast on it. This shirt is magical I have worn it many times to lead a victory onto and off of the battle field, or football field. I believe that to be a winner in anything in life you have to be a beast and just hurt people when they challenge you. I believe that football is like combat and if you don’t win your dead. That is partially true because in practice you do die. Not only in practice does this happen but in your heart. This feeling is made up of a few things, hurt, hate, and disappointment in your own self mainly and these feelings are not good feelings at all, sadly I have felt this rarely. This shirt has been my dear great friend Nick Fontaine and my luck charm for this entire year. And so Far every game that we have worn it to, he or I. We have won that game. It is truly majestic. If you’re looking for a good luck charm, STOP! Once you go looking for something in this case you don’t find it. What you will find though is something different. You will find what you call a lucky charm but is what is actually a weird piece of material and isn’t a lucky charm. Just something you call it. This is like champions, champions aren’t found…. There born!

A Dream Come True

A Dream Come True: Blog Number 5
Word Count: 267

The most terrifying dream I have ever had was probably the one just last night. It was the weekend and I woke up to go out and run. I suddenly discovered my neighbor out in her yard eating her dog. I said hello and thought nothing of it, until she came after me I soon realized she was a zombie. So I started running for help but soon realized that everyone except my family was a zombie I sprinted for over an hour with a pack of 500 zombies about a mile off because after all I am a stud runner. They knew exactly where I was, and where I was going. I had recently read about zombies in an article called- What Happens If You goes on a Run and Everyone Is a Zombie except your family. It was a very interesting article. Here’s what it said, if this should happen run to your house block all entrances to your house get all family members a gun and set up a perimeter to get ready to kill a bunch of zombies. So that’s exactly what I did. We fought off a bunch of zombies forever until a Nissan titan came plowing into the lot of all the zombies as I heard an Ar-15 exploding from the bed of the truck. Suddenly out popped Joey and his dad and brother and together we stopped the zombie apocalypse. This dream has recurred twice except me and my best friend Joey were green beret expert killers that were dead.

On August 9th 2012 I will be traveling to the mystical land of Tacolopolis in an airplane with only a fifth full tank of gas on a stormy night over the pacific. After about three hours in the air with only an hour left we crossed over Bermuda. Suddenly out of no were the lights went out as the plane was struck by 12 lightning bolts and sent hurdling down into the ocean luckily I was in the bathroom at the time and pulled up my pants as I ran out to the escape hatch and jumped out into the freezing water just as the plane hit the water. Suddenly he hundred of screams I had heard stopped in an instant. I knew I was the only survivor. I looked around and saw a floating tub in the water and swam over to it and grabbed a hold of it. The next morning I woke up on a beach the waves must have put me to sleep I thought. I quickly got up and walked around the island I had found myself on, this was not Tacolopolis. I found myself all alone on an island with a pond for drinking water and many foreign animals like blue zebras and yellow caribous. I stood a moment to collect my thoughts until I saw the tub. I ran as fast as I could over to the tub and opened it inside there were a single wooden crossbow and a package of 300 broad heads with 90 shafts. I decided to call the crossbow Bessie and carved her name into the stock with a bowie knife I had found in the box also. We became great friends and survived for over three years until we decided to build a raft and set sail. The raft was very successful because we had found an inboard speedboat motor on the beach and strapped it to the back. We then met up with a cargo ship and were saved Bessie and I are still good friends to this day.

Entry number three ten years from now
Word count: 261

In ten years I imagine myself in a military career. I want to be a combat engineer and would like to have graduated from the west point military academy. After graduating from the point I will go into the military as an officer, work my way to jump school and ranger school and become an airborne ranger. After my long military career I would like to settle down. I see my wife as being extremely beautiful, and will be a model for sports illustrated swimsuit ed. and we would have three kids one boy and two girls. My children would love me and I would also have the privilege to be very wealthy. I will live in long Colorado halfway up a mountain were I have a 300 acre estate were I could take my kids out mudding as well as my wife and also a lot of animals that I could hunt. I would also own my own house on the lake of the Ozarks were I had jet skis a speed boat that is twenty five feet long, and scuba gear ready to dive with on it. I would work at a demolitions company and also be able to take a lot of vacations. My wife will be an indie car racer and a marathon runner along with me but she will never beat me, shell will in good shape but not as good a shape as me. This is exactly where I see myself ten years from now.

Blog entry number two: Super powers
Word count: 258

If I were to have super powers, I would want to be able to turn my body into a flaming ball of fire. I would also like to fly. The advantages of turning into fire are that I could shoot the fire at villains, and when I flew I could fly right through things turning them into ash. That would be sweet. My name would probably be Inferno. I believe that that name and extreme handsomeness which could also be a super power, I would choose this because all people across the land would be attracted to me. That way everyone would love me even when I accidentally dropped a cat off a sky scraper and tried catching it but turned it to ash. If I were to be granted these powers. I would use them for the forces of good and evil but would have two different fireproof costumes and would save all the damsels in distress and turn the tool men into ash. My motto for the good side would be with handsomeness and fire I smite you evil villains. My evil sides motto would be, dude that shirts to tight you tool. I would make friends with both sides good and evil and never reveal my true identity except to the damsels I rescue and make them take a vow of secrecy. I would both conquer and save the world. I would need to plan out which side I make die but it would turn out nice. I would love having super powers

It's a new school year

Blog entry number one: It’s a new school year
Word count: 310

After what seemed like a very short summer, it’s the new school year. My summer was fantastic I spent all but four days away from home. I traveled all summer to camps, family reunions, friends’ houses, and vacation spots. Some of the major highlights to my summer were going to a Christian based sports camp in Missouri, called Kanakuk. At Kanakuk I met one of my role models Joe white an inspirational preacher that runs the program men at the cross. He played pro football in his younger days and along with being the dean, he was my football coach. I got to know Joe and many others well at Kanakuk were I Also received my open water scuba diving silence. After Kanakuk ended I went home for a day then left for Kentucky with Our friends the Donovans and met up with Austin Rogers and spent the weekend swimming, boating, and driving jet skis. I finished off the summer just as I started it, great and went to football camp at school. I learned a lot in the two weeks of football camp it being my first year and all. Having a mostly great summer I did have one down my great grandma died at age 93. A few weeks after her death, I had to sleep in her huge old creepy house. But otherwise my summer was awesome. A few goals that I have for this new school year is to start of my first year of high school with the closest G.P.A score to a 4.0 as possible. I would also like to have our football team be undefeated this year. And also do well in track and wrestling. I would also like to be able to bench 200 pounds by the end of the year.
