On August 9th 2012 I will be traveling to the mystical land of Tacolopolis in an airplane with only a fifth full tank of gas on a stormy night over the pacific. After about three hours in the air with only an hour left we crossed over Bermuda. Suddenly out of no were the lights went out as the plane was struck by 12 lightning bolts and sent hurdling down into the ocean luckily I was in the bathroom at the time and pulled up my pants as I ran out to the escape hatch and jumped out into the freezing water just as the plane hit the water. Suddenly he hundred of screams I had heard stopped in an instant. I knew I was the only survivor. I looked around and saw a floating tub in the water and swam over to it and grabbed a hold of it. The next morning I woke up on a beach the waves must have put me to sleep I thought. I quickly got up and walked around the island I had found myself on, this was not Tacolopolis. I found myself all alone on an island with a pond for drinking water and many foreign animals like blue zebras and yellow caribous. I stood a moment to collect my thoughts until I saw the tub. I ran as fast as I could over to the tub and opened it inside there were a single wooden crossbow and a package of 300 broad heads with 90 shafts. I decided to call the crossbow Bessie and carved her name into the stock with a bowie knife I had found in the box also. We became great friends and survived for over three years until we decided to build a raft and set sail. The raft was very successful because we had found an inboard speedboat motor on the beach and strapped it to the back. We then met up with a cargo ship and were saved Bessie and I are still good friends to this day.
